Welcome our new President, Dan Boller!
Please welcome Dan Boller, our newly elected President Dan and his wife Ginger are both Cincinnati natives, and Dan is a graduate of Elder High School. The Bollers were married in 2000 and moved to their current home on Grand Avenue in 2001. Dan and Ginger are very family oriented and say that their primary goal in life is raising their two sons to the best of their ability. Their son Danny is 2 1/2 and his brother Will is approaching his first birthday. Both of the boys love being outdoors and they enjoy playing with their two dogs (both boxers).
Dan and Ginger are continuing to work on their home and their yard and have made many improvements. When they are able they both enjoy riding their vintage (1989) Harley Softtail. Dan is also a longtime Bengals fan (a season ticket holder) and Ginger is an avid scrapbooker. Their neighbors say that the Bollers have been a very positive force in the area and that they have done a lot to bring neighbors closer by hosting social gatherings.
Dan has worked hard as the head of EPHIA's Problem Property Committee and has earned the respect and cooperation of city officials through his efforts. His hope for EPHIA is that it will continue to promote "the good life that exists in East Price Hill." He would like to help East Price Hill by trying to retain the current working-class residents and return it to a working class neighborhood. He would like to see area homes restored to "their glory of yesteryear" and to see the business district revitalized. Dan often walks with his sons and his dogs and feels that many of the area's sidewalks are in deplorable and unsafe condition and need to be replaced. He would like to see the elimination of unsightly garbage and refuse in the area. He would also like to see changes which would make the area safer by eliminating speeding and tire squealing.
Dan is a strong promoter of East Price Hill and feels that among its many assets, it has three things that very few other neighborhoods have... location, location, location!
EPHIA to meet Monday, January 16
for our first meeting of the new year!
The board of directors will meet at 6:30pm and the general meeting will begin at 7:30pm at the Elberon United Methodist Church, Elberon and Phillips Avenues.

BUSINESS DISTRICT
Heritage Ohio is holding a free workshop aimed at helping communities revitalize their business districts. EPHIA is looking for volunteers to attend. The workshop will be held on Jan. 26th from 2-4 pm at the Drake Conference Center on West Galbraith Road. Topics include rehabbing buildings, expanding parking and recruiting new businesses. Anyone who is interested should contact Dan Boller at 471-4183 by January 19.
