REPHIA's annual picnic will be held on Monday, July 17 at Mt. Echo's shelterhouse beginning at 6:30pm. The picnic is free to current EPHIA members and $5 for non-members. Reservations are desired but not required ... call Michael Wigel at 251-0424 or e-mail him at michael@wigelfamily.net. Board members, please note that there will be a short board meeting at 6:00pm. And don't miss Echoes in the Park, a big band concert featuring Lee's Junction (leesjunction.com) later that evening in the pavilion.
Neighborhood Safety Walks Scheduled
Come join your neighborhood residents and one of your neighborhood police officers at a Price Hill Safety Walk. The July walks will be held on the 13th (meet at Holy Family) and the 27th (meet at Carson Elementary), both beginning at 6:30pm.
Price Hill Recreation Center News
The Rec. Center is now offering a Tai Chi class on Thursdays at 6 pm. Tai Chi is a very slowmoving exercise developed by the ancient Chinese. It is very good for people of all ages, even die elderly. Tai Chi helps develop balance, flexibility, memory, muscle tone and mental well being. It is often recommended by doctors and therapist to people who have arthritis, high blood pressure and other ailments associated with aging. The class is free to members of the Center ($15/yr. or $5/yr. if 50 or over). For more information contact Sandy at the Rec. Center (2514123) or Ken Rothman (471-1912).
ECO Meeting Scheduled
The Environmental Concern Organization will be holding a meeting on July 23rd and refreshments will be served. ECO deals with environmental issues throughout the Cincinnati metropolitan area. RSVPs should be made to Jim Turner c/o suewolinsky@fuse.
