I have a bit of sad news to pass along, Emelia Read's (EPHIA member) husband Bob (Robert) passed away earlier this month at Drake Hospital's hospice. Please keep the Read family in your thoughts and prayers.

THINK SUMMER!!!
The Park Board will be hosting an Everybody's Backyard Picnic in your park in 2009. Below are the dates and times for the event. I ask that you start sharing this information with the community via meetings, emails, websites and newsletters. The community is encouraged to add to the the template we provide, whether that be business displays, informational booths, product sampling, or other appropriate participation. You will receive a flyer prior to the event and a banner will be posted at the park the Friday before the event. Johnny Schott will be coordinating the picnics.
