2006 EPHIA Candidates

Ken Rothman (Trustee)
East Price Hill has been my home for over 30 years and I have been an EPHIA member for over 25 years. I am an active member of Price Hill Citizens on Patrol and of the Price Hill Court Watch Program. I have served as an EPHIA Director and as the Editor of the Newsletter. I have represented East Price Hill on the Community Development Block Grant Review Board and have participated in a large number of community projects. These experiences together with a long and vaned mm in the business world have given me a broad perspective and taught me a lot about how to approach problems and how to take advantage of opportunities Continuing to serve as a Trustee is a way for me to pay back my community and to and to bring what I think is a unique point of view to the deliberations of the Board and Officers. Ken currently serves as a trustee of EPHIA.

Barbara Niehoff (Director)
As a homeowner on Grand Ave. in Price Hill for the past 5 and one half years, I have a vested interest in the community. I applaud the efforts of the many people working to the area in safety and livability and wish to contribute to those efforts. I am a retired office worker and currently hold a part-time position at a self-storage facility. My interests include my family, two dogs, reading and, when the spirit moves me, various home projects. The current EPHIA Board appointed Barbara as a director within the past year.

Louise Anderson (Director)
I have lived in East Price Hill for 54 years. My children were all raised here and some of my grandchildren also. I am a lifetime member of EPHIA. I believe in their good work and will do whatever I can to help East Price Hill. I would appreciate your vote as director. The current EPHIA Board granted Louise 'Life Member' status within the past year.

Pete Ridder (Director)
My name is Pete Ridder and I have lived in Price Hill my whole life. I reside on Davenport Av. in East Price Hill. I am a retired Cincinnati police officer and worked the East and West Price Hill beats in Police District 3 for 18 years. I currently serve as director for EPHIA and seek re-election to continue serving the community. The current EPHIA Board appointed Pete as director within the past year.

Steve Klatte (Director)
My name is Steve Klatte I am a graduate of Elder HS (1979) and hold Masters Degrees in Agricultural Economics and Business (Finance) from West Virginia University (1985). Professionally, I am employed as an Advertising Consultant. As an 18-year resident of Price Hill, I firmly believe that active participation in neighborhood affairs can improve the overall quality of life in our city. I have helped to organize a group of neighbor block watchers (Elberon Avenue, northof Glenway). Proactively, we have removed several bad Section 8 tenants, chased area drug dealers from our street, and curbed loud and excessive nuisance noise. If elected to the position of EPHIA director, my interest is to also promote these proactive approaches within the EPHIA organization. I respectively ask for your vote.
