Mayor's Proclamation for Capt. Raabe
Be It Proclaimed:
Whereas, Captain Andrew G. Raabe has been the District 3 Commander of the Cincinnati Police Department.
Whereas, Captain Raabe as Commander has instituted programs for the well being of the citizens of District 3 and fostered an environment of cooperation and communication between the citizens and the Cincinnati Police Department.
Whereas, Captain Raabe has made himself and his officers available for community meetings, where they would report on the crime statistics and tactics being used to lower crime.
Whereas, as a result of Captain Raabe's leadership and efforts there has been a significant improvement in the safety and quality of life issues in the community,
Whereas, we are sorry to see him being transferred from the Commander position and wish to express our appreciation for the time that he has spent in District 3, and
Whereas, Westwood Concern and Price Hill Civic Club as well the citizens of District 3 would like to see him honored.
Now, Therefore, I, Mark Mallory,
Mayor of the City of Cincinnati do hereby proclaim
November 5, 2007
as
Captain Andrew G. Raabe Day
in Cincinnati.
