EAST PRICE HILL COMMIUNITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
ARE NOW BACK AT THE REC CENTER
959 Hawthorne Avenue - Price hill Recreation Center
September 2025 General meeting will have a Special Meeting Agenda...and pizza from LAROSA's
Happy Birthday Mr. Buddy LaRosa!!
The City of Cincinnati, Price Hill Will, along with EPHIA committees will be presenting Thriving Neighborhoods, a pilot taking place in East Price Hill.
The presentation will explain the who, what, where, and why of the Thriving Neighborhoods initiative and discuss how each neighbor can participate in this project. This will be an ongoing engagement with the City that will require a significant amount of energy and commitment. We hope you'll take this opportunity to get involved, be self-motivated to participate, and be a part of giving East Price Hill a positive focus.

Agenda, minutes, and more information can be found here when it is available.
All matters considered ordinary and routine will be listed under the consent agenda and will be approved by a single motion. If there are any extraordinary items that arise at the 9/15 general membership meeting, a special meeting can be set to for the item(s) since the planned presentation and conversation is planned to take up the whole meeting. We potentially have one quick request to support a Wellness CAT event who reached out prior to the scheduling of this special agenda, so do please reach out to the appropriate committee if you have a time sensitive request or concern.

Submitted to EPHIA: The City of Cincinnati has issued the Hillside Initiative Phase 1 Engagement Report. This spurs a lot of concern because there is reason to believe that there are PAID lobbyists lobbying to crack open our hillsides, disrespect the greenscreen that makes Cincinnati special and, cater to the development requests of developers who care more about their immediate profits and not the sustainability or health of the hillside / hillside adjacent land. We have seen harm that has yet to be remedied in Clifton, CUF, North Avondale, Mt. Adams, East Walnut Hills, Columbia Tusculum and even the hill slippage of Northern Kentucky that we can see from our Incline. Do stay informed and keep your finger on the pulse of what is happening at the State level driven by developers and the persons who put profits over people and our environment. Call your friends at the state to make sure laws continue to PROTECT the hillside.
