Welcome to EPHIAThe East Price Hill Improvement Association (EPHIA) is our neighborhood’s City of Cincinnati designated Community Council. Our objective is the encouragement and promotion of the civic advancement of East Price Hill, all of Price Hill, and the West Side of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

- East Price Hill covers three square miles and has about 15,000 residents.
- We are just a short drive to:
- Downtown and the Stadiums – 6 minutes
- Washington Park, Findlay Market and Mt. Adams – 9 minutes
- Westwood, Northside, UC, XU and Hyde Park – 15 minutes
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport – 20 minutes
- Metro bus routes through our neighborhood are 10, 32 and 33.
- We are at the top of the East Price Hill Front, one of Cincinnati’s most prominent land forms, 850 feet above sea level and overlooking Downtown, the Ohio River, and Northern Kentucky.
- Our neighborhood grew rapidly with the 1874 opening of the Price Hill Inclined Plane Railroad, one of Cincinnati’s five inclines, which rose 350 feet from “Eighth & State” (now called Lower Price Hill) to West 8th
- East Price Hill has over a dozen parks and green spaces with more than 150 acres to explore.
- All of Price Hill won the City’s Green Challenge and was declared Cincinnati’s Greenest Neighborhood in 2009.
- The Kroger on Warsaw Avenue is the only one in the Tri-State area with English-Spanish in-store signs.
- Cincinnati Christian University was founded here almost a century ago as Cincinnati Bible Seminary.
- Several neighborhood quarries provided the stone foundations of many Cincinnati buildings, including Union Terminal, home of the Cincinnati Museum Center.
- Price Hill Historical Society has a trove of information on people in East Price Hill’s history, including Chief Bold Face, General Rees E. Price, President William Henry Harrison, Judge Edward Dempsey, Mother Elizabeth Seton, Doris Day, and Mamie Knight Faulkner.
