In the Spring of 2024, I sent a letter to all elected officials who represent me in some way, including all members of Cincinnati City Council at the time. It was about 20 letters in total. Out of all of the letters that I sent, only FOUR people replied. The mayor and Senator Brown sent form letters, which I can accept. That's fine. At least somebody read something. Jeff Cramerding and Denise Driehaus sent back personal hand-written notes. The lack of responses from all Cincinnati city councilmembers, except for Mr. Cramerding was a red flag for me and alarmed me. I now think that the ONLY elected officials who care about the West Side are Westsiders. The least an elected official can do is create an office operation that responds, hopefully substantively, to constituent concerns. What will you do to insure that all constiuent letters and emails are fairly resonded to? And, if you were on city council in early 2024, why should I vote for you when I could not get a response to my letter from that time?
