Price Hill Plan and Thriving Neighborhoods?

In 2014 the Price Hill Plan was approved by the community and city. The goals and concerns identified in the plan have been reviewed as being still very much relevant to refresh commitment to.  In parallel, the community is taking an objective review of this plan and identifying measures of success and areas of opportunity. While a refresh to the Price Hill Plan has not formally been initiated, there is such a significant amount of overlap, that the themes fit perfectly into the the HOW and WHAT of the 2025 Thriving Neighborhoods pilot that will be introduced to the community September 15 2025.

    Working meetings have continued to happen. There’s been a debrief from the 9.15 meeting, a meeting 9.18, and an another working meeting 10/2. We’ve mostly talked about buildings and inspections processes, litter cases, and even been able to identify an opportunity to maybe get some help with youth work opportunities and hiring folks from the neighborhood to take custodianship of the community where they live. Another opportunity was to talk about lots being used to learn trades.

      Louis Auto Repair at the corner of Elberon and Basset is becoming a problem. I strongly suspect that he is using Bassett and Crestline to park his customers' vehicles while they await open service bays. On the other hand, his business supports numerous employees. Also, expect further outbursts from Tanyqua Oliver over dumping on Bassett. I hesitate to call 311.
